Klaus Schmidt
Controller
Klaus was hired as ORBIS America’s first employee and has been with us since 1999. He has a degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Long Island University, New York. In his current role as Controller, he is responsible for administration, finances, and human resources of the U.S. operations. Klaus can speak three languages fluently, English, German, and Spanish. In his free time, he volunteers as a catechist on Sundays.
