Ankush joined our team in March 2024 as a Senior SAP Production Planning Consultant. Since being with ORBIS, the thing he enjoys the most is the healthy work culture, focusing on both productivity and work\/life balance. He said, \u201cthough we are super focused on the deliverables, the office environment is friendly and happy. We enjoy lunch together, have a personal connection with colleagues and we get a lot of guidance and support from the senior consultants. The warm welcome and structured way of onboarding is exceptional\u201d. Ankush moved to the McLean, Virginia area from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and he feels grateful for the beautiful weather which is closer to Bangalore\u2019s weather (his hometown in India). He has always been fond of the German ways of working and he is glad that ORBIS follows the same. Ankush is in the process of learning SAP Variant Configuration, which is complex, but he is excited to improve his skills and share the long-term vision with the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ankush studied Mechanical Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra India, where he obtained his bachelor\u2019s degree. Ankush started his career with a manufacturing company, Hero Honda motor Ltd. He then moved to SAP, where he has worked as a consultant for various global IT consulting firms. During his previous role, he received many opportunities to excel as a functional consultant in both the Production Planning and Quality Management modules. He worked with clients from various geographies such as UAE, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Spain, and North America. In Japan, he worked onsite for one of the largest PTD implementation projects for air-conditioning units, which was the turning point in his career as a consultant. Ankush also received the \u201cEmployee of the Year\u201d award in 2017 from Infosys Japan for project delivery. He completed his SAP Production Planning-SCM Manufacturing (SCM 4.0) certification in 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ankush spends most of his free time in spirituality and service. He has been practicing and teaching breathing techniques and meditation for more than a decade. He is an Art of Living faculty, which is the largest NGO in the world, and he teaches two main introductory courses – Happiness Program and Sahaj Samadhi meditation. In the past, Ankush has focused mainly on teaching youth specific programs, but now he is more focused on teaching meditation. He says, \u201cI love to make a difference in others\u2019 lives by making them stress free, happy, and successful. I think teaching meditation is the fastest way to do that.\u201d Ankush has been involved in various Art of Living social projects and would like to lead them in future. He enjoys studying Psychology, ways to improve energy and productivity, and exploring gadgets and technology to be more efficient. Ankush even has a Facebook community with 300+ people (inspired by the Japanese concept – Kaizen) where they help each other to grow and excel in every area of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of Ankush\u2019s all-time favorite movies is Kung Fu Panda Part 1. He says that this movie is such a clever concept to present deep spiritual learnings in a fun manner. It relates to every part of the human spirit. It’s basically saying even if you are a big fat panda (without any naturally gifted talents), if you love something enough, you diligently apply yourself, and you have trusted mentors around you who believe in you, you can achieve anything in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
